Description
This indicates an attack attempt to exploit a Directory Traversal vulnerability in Splunk Enterprise.
The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanitizing of user supplied inputs in a search parameter. A remote attacker can exploit this to load data from incorrect endpoints via a crafted request. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary execution of codes on the vulnerable machines.
