MS.Windows.Vista.DHCP.DoS

description-logoDescription

This indicates an attempt to exploit a Denial-of-Service vulnerability in the DHCP service in Windows Vista.
An attacker can exploit the vulnerability by creating a specially crafted DHCP server that assigns the same broadcast IP address to multiple hosts. This will corrupt the network structure of the host, causing a denial of service condition.
