Fortinet Discovers Adobe InDesign Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability
Summary
Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered an Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Adobe InDesign.
Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and typesetting application produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks.
An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability has been discovered in Adobe InDesign by FortiGuard Labs. The vulnerability exists because the vulnerable software can't correctly parse a crafted QXD file which causes an out-of-bounds address access. It could allow malicious users to create arbitrary code execution scenarios.
Solutions
