Fortinet Discovers Autodesk DWG TrueView Memory Corruption Vulnerability
Summary
Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a Memory Corruption vulnerability in Autodesk DWG TrueView.
Autodesk DWG TrueView is a free multimedia software that allows users to view AutoCAD and other DWG files. Users can measure & print drawings and convert files between AutoCAD formats. It is particularly useful for architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
A memory corruption vulnerability has been discovered in AutoDesk DWG TrueView by FortiGuard Labs. The vulnerability is caused by a crafted DWG file which causes an out-of-bounds memory access. It could allow malicious users to create code execution scenarios.
