Fortinet Discovers Adobe Illustrator Memory Leak Vulnerability
Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a memory leak vulnerability in Adobe Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems for macOS and Windows.
A memory leak vulnerability has been discovered in Illustrator by FortiGuard Labs. The vulnerability is caused by a flaw in parsing a crafted "CDR" file which causes an out-of-bounds read. It could lead to memory leak.

Adobe confirmed the vulnerability on October 20, 2021.
Adobe patched the vulnerability on February 8, 2022.
This vulnerability was discovered by Yonghui Han of Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs.
