Fortinet Discovers Matomo Analytics Denial Of Service Vulnerability

Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a Denial Of Service Vulnerability in Matomo Web Analytics platform.
Matomo is the leading Free/Libre open analytics platform. Matomo aims to be a Free software alternative to Google Analytics and is already used on more than 1,400,000 websites. Privacy is built-in!
Matomo Web Analytics is susceptible to a Denial Of Service vulnerability. The issue occurs when the server simulates the user input without proper input sanitization which will result in memory exhaustion.
