Fortinet Discovers Hancom Office NEO HWPViewer Memory Corruption Vulnerability

Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a Memory Corruption vulnerability in Hancom Office NEO HwpViewer.


NEO HwpViewer is a Korean application to allow you to view documents created by Hancom Office developed by Hancom Inc.


A memory corruption vulnerability has been discovered in Hancom Office NEO HwpViewer by FortiGuard Labs. The vulnerability is caused by a crafted file which causes an out-of-bounds memory access. It could allow malicious users to create remote code execution scenarios.
