Description
This indicates an attempt to exploit a Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the URL processor of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The vulnerability is due to an error when the application handles a webpage containing a link to an overly long hostname. An attacker can trick an unsuspecting user into visiting a malicious webpage and execute arbitrary code within the context of the application or possibly cause a denial of service condition.
