IBM.Personal.Communications.ISeries.Buffer.Overflow

Description

This indicates an attack attempt against a Buffer Overflow vulnerability in
IBM Personal Communications I-Series Access WorkStation 5.9.
The vulnerability is caused by an error when the vulnerable software handles
a malicious ws file. As a result, a remote attacker may be able to exploit this to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application, via a crafted ws file.

Impact

System Compromise: remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
