Description

This indicates detection of the Net C/X (Digi RealPort) protocol.
Net C/X (Digi RealPort) is a proprietary Serial-over-LAN encapsulation protocol. It provides a virtual connection to serial devices anywhere on the network by encapsulating ICS protocol data in a TCP based protocol. Remote serial devices are connected to a Digi device server or terminal server somewhere on the network and applications connect to them using a Digi RealPort software that installs a driver exposing one or several virtual serial ports.
