Description

Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP) is a content-routing protocol which is used to redirect real-time traffic flows. It was developed by Cisco and is built with load balancing, scaling, fault tolerance and fail safe mechanisms. WCCPv1 supports HTTP, generic routing encapsulation (GRE), and communication via UDP port 2048.
