Fortinet Discovers Adobe InDesign Memory Corruption Vulnerability

Summary

Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a memory corruption vulnerability in Adobe InDesign.


Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and typesetting application produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks.


A memory corruption vulnerability has been discovered in Adobe InDesign. The vulnerability exists because the vulnerable software can't correctly parse a crafted INDD file which causes an out-of-bounds memory access. It could allow malicious users to create code execution scenarios.
