Impact System Compromise: Remote attackers can gain control of vulnerable systems.
Description This indicates an attack attempt against a buffer-overflow vulnerability in TippingPoint IPS. This issue is caused by an error when the vulnerable device parses the "Domain name" field of the "Answers" part in the DNS response packet. It may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system.
