Description It indicate a possible exploit of a File Unlinking vulnerability in the Sun Solaris LPD daemon. The line printer daemon listens for commands on TCP port 515. It is possible for an attacker to issue commands and unlink system files.
Affected Products Any Operating System running an un-patched version of Line Printer Daemon as per RFC 1179
Recommended Actions Apply appropriate patch from the vendor or upgrade to non-vulnerable version if available.
