Description

This indicates an attack attempt against a stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability in Microsoft MPEG Layer-3 codecs.

The vulnerability is caused by an error when the vulnerable software handles a malformed AVI file. It may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted AVI file.
