Impact Attackers can gather information about a target network to prepare for future attacks.
Description It indicates detection of a zone transfer request from a DNS server. This could be legitimate DNS traffic. Alternatively a remote attacker could use the request to gather information on your network in preparation for a future attack.
Affected Products Any unprotected DNS server is vulnerable to the attack.
Recommended Actions Currently we are not aware of any official supplied fix for this issue.
